Lessons for pre-school, non-swimmers and beginners consist of 30 minutes.

Children are taught to the recommended guidelines laid down by the Amateur Swimming Association who are The National Governing Body for Swimming in England.

Each child will get a free assessment following which they will be placed in a class of similar ability.

As students progress to level 5 and above we recommend that they enter into hour long sessions where the teaching is more intensive. The longer sessions help our students focus, retain teaching points and drills, therefore they progress at a faster rate.

Turtles is very keen to see young swimmers taught with a view to being, not only strong swimmers but also with good technique and have the opportunity, if desired, to swim at competitive level.

When your child joins Turtles he/she will immediately be entered onto the Hastings Seagull waiting list. Your child will then be constantly monitored on their ability and when a place becomes available they will be offered preferential entry at the level they have attained. No further assessments will be required. PLEASE NOTE: The choice to join Hastings Seagull is entirely yours. You are absolutely under no obligation.

• 4 x half hour (4 x 30mins) @ £6.00 = £24.00.
